Pricing

I work on a time and materials basis. I charge $95/hour (plus tax) with a 2-hour minimum. I do charge for time spent at the hardware store for your project. The scoping meeting (“site visit”) is free. I may charge a $25 trip fee for traveling outside of Northeast Seattle or Shoreline/Bothell.

Note that I can only estimate based on prior experience. No two jobs are alike, so it may take longer than estimated; but, if/when that’s the case I’ll let you know quickly so there are no surprises.

 

Billing & Payments

After the project is completed, I’ll invoice you via email, which will give you the option to pay via a secure credit card or bank account transaction (QuickBooks Online). Or, you can pay in person by check.

For multi-day projects, I may bill for hours completed each month.

Payment is due upon your receipt of my invoice for completed work.

Service Area

I primarily work for clients who live in NE Seattle, Shoreline, and Lake Forest Park. Given the traffic in this area and the high cost of fuel, I will charge a trip fee per visit, according to the zone you live in (see map):

  • Zone 1: $0 trip fee

  • Zone 2: $25 trip fee

  • Zone 3: $50 trip fee

If you live outside of my service area, contact me and we can discuss if it makes sense for me to take the work based on scope and distance.
